Crane Prairie Reservoir dominates the eastern half of this landscape, fed by the Deschutes River and Cultus River within the Deschutes National Forest. To the west, the volcanic terrain of the Cascade Range rises sharply, featuring prominent peaks such as Cultus Mtn and Bench Mark Butte. This 2024 survey captures a wilderness rich in hydrologic features, from the large expanse of Cultus Lake to smaller alpine waters like North Corral Lake and South Corral Lake.
