Cuba serves as the central hub for this portion of Republic County, defined by a grid of agricultural section roads and the winding drainage basins of the Mill Creek forks. The landscape reflects a deeply rooted rural community, evidenced by several scattered burial grounds that speak to the area's early settlement history. These include Bohemian Cem and Farmington Cem, alongside Mill Creek Cem and Hawks Cem, which are positioned near local waterways. The hydrology is dominated by the N Fork Mill Cr and S Fork Mill Cr, which carve through the plains. Aside from the established streets of Cuba, such as Brandon St and Bristol St, the small settlement of Haworth marks the eastern edge of the quadrangle near Cherry Cr.
