Hardware Ranch Wildlife Management Area anchors the western portion of this high-elevation landscape on the border of Cache and Rich counties. Set within the Cache National Forest, the terrain is defined by a series of north-south ridges and deep hollows like Davenport Hollow and Frazier Hollow. The hydrological pattern is unique, featuring numerous "sinks" and springs where water enters the subterranean limestone, such as Spencer Basin Sink and Valley Sink.
