Skutumpah Terrace and the Wygaret Terrace define the dramatic vertical landscape of southern Kane County in this late-1980s topographic study. The area is dominated by the massive White Cliffs, a distinct geologic step where the elevation drops significantly toward the south. Between these great benches, the map records a network of deep drainages including Johnson Canyon and Swapp Canyon, which channel seasonal runoff toward Johnson Wash.
