Drumhill Ridge defines the high timberland of the Blue Mountains, where the boundaries of the Umatilla National Forest and Whitman National Forest converge. This 2014 survey documents a landscape of dramatic elevation changes and named geological formations, such as Sugarloaf Mountain, Green Mtn, and the curiously named Fiddlers Hell. The area is defined by its water sources, with numerous named springs including Hoskins Spring, Summit Spring, and Indian Spring providing vital points of reference across the ridges.
