Enigma serves as the central hub of this South Georgia landscape, situated where the borders of Berrien, Tift, and Irwin Counties converge. The town's layout is closely tied to its local heritage, with the Enigma Cem located just east of the main settlement. The geography here is defined by a slow-moving network of waterways, including the Alapaha River which winds through the northern portion of the quadrangle.
