Estancia serves as the primary hub in this central New Mexico landscape, characterized by a series of drainage patterns and agricultural plots. The grid-like street system of the town is anchored by the Estancia Post Office and nearby Estancia Park Lake, with the Estancia Municipal Airport situated to the northeast. This 2011 survey documents a corridor of small settlements along Old Hwy 41, including Witt and McIntosh.
