The Wah Wah Mountains dominate the southern portion of this desert landscape, their elevation dropping sharply toward the broad expanse of Wah Wah Valley. This arid basin in Millard County is defined by its dramatic topography and sparse water sources, centered around the Lawson Cove Reservoir. The terrain transitions from the high ridges of Fifteenmile Point in the southeast to the lower, undulating Gray Hills in the west.
