The Cedar River Watershed (City of Seattle) and the Green River Watershed (City of Tacoma) dominate this 1989 topographic study of the High Cascades. This protected landscape, much of it contained within the Snoqualmie National Forest, is defined by a complex drainage network where the Cedar River flows north toward Chester Morse Lake, and the West Fork and Smay Creek drain the southern slopes.
