Caleb Cem and the small settlement at Frog Hollow are central landmarks in this high-desert landscape of central Oregon. The terrain is defined by a complex drainage system, where the waters of Mountain Cr and Willow Cr are managed through numerous small impoundments such as Fopiano Reservoir and Blann Meadow Reservoir. These water sources support a legacy of ranching and early industry, evidenced by Spoos Mill in the southwestern quadrant.
