Camp Rilea occupies a significant portion of this coastal landscape, situated along the Clatsop Plains just inland from the Pacific Ocean. This modern survey illustrates the proximity of the military installation to the Lewis and Clark National Historical Park and the winding Fort-To-Sea-Trl. The geography is defined by a series of north-south water bodies and wetlands, including Cullaby Lake, West Lake, and the meandering Neacoxie Creek, which parallel the shoreline.
