About this map

Lake Erie defines the northern reaches of this Ashtabula County landscape, where the resort atmosphere of Geneva-on-the-Lake contrasts with the structured grid of Geneva to the south. The area is characterized by a transition from lakefront leisure at Geneva-on-the-Lake State Park to the fertile agricultural lands of the Connecticut Western Reserve. The Grand River carves a winding path across the southern portion of the quadrangle, preserved in part by the Wright-Davis State Preserve and the Grand State Wild and Scenic River corridor.
