1972 Map of Goshute

USGS Topo · Published 1975

About this map

The Goshute Indian Reservation dominates this 1970s landscape on the border of Tooele and Juab counties. The terrain transitions sharply from the alluvial flats of Deep Creek Valley in the west to the steep slopes of the Deep Creek Range in the east, peaking at Bald Mountain and Rocky Peak. This transition is marked by numerous seasonal drainages and springs that supported the local environment, including Skinner Springs and Rocky Spring.
