The Saint Joseph River and the Maumee River anchor this portion of northeast Allen County, where the landscape is defined by an extensive system of agricultural drainage ditches and small rural settlements. The large Hurshtown Reservoir dominates the northern terrain, situated just east of Leo-Cedarville. In the central portion of the sheet, the village of Grabill sits at a crossroads, with the Leo-Cedarville To Grabill Trl and Fort Wayne Parks Trails Trl providing modern recreational infrastructure amidst the traditional grid of county roads.
