The Wrangell Mountains dominate this high-altitude landscape in the Copper River Census Area, where glacial action and volcanic peaks define the terrain. The northern edge of the sheet is marked by the slopes of Mt Drum, a significant landmark within the Wrangell-Saint Elias National Park. Moving south, the icy expanses of the Klawasi Glacier and Nadina Glacier feed into the complex drainage systems of the interior, including the headwaters of the Dadina River.
