Sheakleyville and Hadley anchor this western Pennsylvania landscape, where the waters of the Little Shenango River and Sandy Creek cut through the terrain. The creation of the Pine Run Dam formed the expansive Lake Wilhelm, which dominates the eastern portion of the map and significantly altered the local geography. This 2010 survey shows the area's transition into a recreational and residential corridor, evidenced by Camp Wilhelm and the Marina Boat Launch on the lake's shores.
