The North Canadian River cuts through the northeast corner of this Oklahoma landscape, where the growing communities of Harrah and Choctaw define the suburban boundary east of Oklahoma City. This 2016 survey highlights a transition from dense residential plotting to the rural sections of Newalla and McLoud. Local history is preserved in numerous burial sites scattered across the landscape, including the Saint Teresa's Catholic Cem, Harrah Memory Lane Cem, and the Jager Cem.
