The boundary between Sutton County and Edwards County bisects this ranching landscape in west Texas. Most of the terrain is defined by dry drainage systems including Bull Hollow to the northeast and the winding path of Coyote Draw in the southwest. Local travel is facilitated by a network of rural routes such as Harrison Rd and Bond Rd, which navigate the elevation changes typical of the Edwards Plateau. The presence of the Canyon Ranch Airport in the western portion of the quadrangle highlights the importance of private aviation for reaching these expansive ranch holdings. A secondary network of private routes, including Pvt Rd 3325 and Pvt Rd 3358, connects the primary county roads to the interior of the various ranch parcels.
