Boundary Lake sits directly on the international border where the Canada United States of America boundary line divides the northern plains of Glacier County. This high-prairie landscape is defined by the drainage patterns of Big Rock Coulee and the East Fork Big Rock Coulee, which carve through the terrain as they wind southward. The area is sparsely settled, with the local transportation network limited to a few secondary routes such as Reagan Rd and Altenberg Rd.
