N Kenansville Rd bisects a landscape defined by expansive wetlands and water bodies in this 2015 study of southeastern Osceola County. The drainage patterns of the Florida interior are clearly visible through features like Rattlesnake Slough and Sawgrass Slough, which feed into the larger basin of Bull Cr. Significant ecological and recreational corridors are present, most notably the Florida National Scenic Trail as it winds through the southern half of the quadrangle. Rural land use is characterized by large holdings and private aviation, centered around the Tedford Ranch Airport and the surrounding road network including Holopaw Groves Rd and Broussard Rd. Numerous isolated water bodies such as Grape Head Pond, Johnson Bay, and the Bee Ponds illustrate the high-water table typical of this portion of the peninsula.
