About this map

The Clinch County Courthouse serves as a central anchor for this corner of the Georgia coastal plain, where the landscape is defined by the gradual transition from lowland cypress bays to upland timber tracts. High-relief features are absent, replaced instead by the subtle depressions of Isiac Bay, Bunkle Bay, and Devils Bay, which feed the sprawling drainage systems of Suwannee Creek and Woodyard Creek. Settlement patterns follow the east-west corridor of State Rte 38, connecting the communities of Homerville, Traisville, and Argyle.
