The High Plains of Wallace County are defined by a network of ephemeral watercourses and section-line roads in this 2022 survey. The landscape is carved by the Middle Fork Lake Cr and the S Fork Lake Cr, which flow through the north and central portions of the township. These drainages, along with the notable Armstrong Draw in the northeast, represent the primary topographical breaks in an otherwise steady western Kansas terrain.
