Hoxeyville and Caberfae sit at the center of this recreational and timber landscape on the border of Wexford and Lake Counties. The northern half of the region is defined by a dense network of seasonal trails, including the Mackenzie Mountain Bike trails and numerous snowmobile routes like the Caberfae Smt DNR37 (Snow). These paths wind through the high ground of the Manistee National Forest, where steep contour lines reveal the varied glacial topography of the area.
