About this map

Ingram serves as the primary settlement on this Rusk County landscape, situated where several forks of the Main Creek system converge. The village is organized along Lawrence St Old 14 Rd and Lawrence St, with the Ingram Cem located just west of the residential center. The surrounding terrain is characterized by a complex network of wetlands and small waterways, including George Ladd Cr and Skinner Creek, while the South Fork Flambeau River clips the northern corner of the quadrangle. Significant water features like Lake La Verne 13 and the winding Middle Fork Main Cr illustrate the hydrological character of the region. Many local roads, such as Tilmars Rd and Gundlach Rd, appear to be named for early residents, providing useful clues for genealogical research in this part of northern Wisconsin.
