Lexington Heights and a string of lakeside communities overlook the western shore of Lake Huron, where residential development meets the agricultural interior of Sanilac County. The landscape is defined by the sharp transition from high-density shoreline neighborhoods like Huronia Heights and Great Lakes Beach to the broad, open sections of Worth Township. Inland, the small settlements of Amadore and Jeddo anchor a network of drainage systems and creeks, including Burtch Creek and Wixon Drain.

Genealogists will find a significant concentration of burial sites across the township, from the centrally located Saint Lawrence Cemetery to the Worth Township Cemetery and the more remote Strevel Cemetery.
