The Price River carves a deep path through this high-desert landscape in Emery County, defining the drainage patterns for the surrounding plateaus and canyons. High elevations are dominated by the Beckwith Plateau and Elliott Mesa, which overlook a complex network of erosional features including Jenny Canyon and Long Canyon. This 2014 survey illustrates the extreme verticality of the region, from the low-lying Little Park Wash to the prominent heights of Big Horn Mtn and the Big Horn Benches.
