Mystery Creek Road carves a path through the interior of the Kenai Peninsula, providing access to a landscape defined by an intricate network of waterways and glacial features. This region is characterized by a high density of small lakes, such as Browse Lake, Campsite Lake, and Picnic Lake, which are interspersed among the drainages of the Moose River and Mystery Cr. The terrain rises to its highest point at Hideout Hill, overlooking the southeastern portion of the map near the Upper Jean Lake basin.
