Kennaday Peak dominates this Carbon County landscape, a prominent summit in an area defined by high-elevation ranching and complex water management. The 2012 survey illustrates the importance of water rights in this arid terrain, showing a network of irrigation features such as the Wiant Supply Ditch, Highland Ditch, and Elk Hollow Ditch that feed the local valleys. These man-made channels cut across a natural drainage system of numerous creeks, including Troublesome Cr and Middle Cedar Cr.
