The map illustrates an intricate network of irrigation systems required for high-altitude ranching, including the Ault Highline Ditch, Scribner Ditch, and Swan Ditch. These waterways carve through the broad, open terrain of Overland Flats and Lake Creek Flats, directing water from the creeks to the surrounding grazing lands.
