Lake Leon dominates the northern reaches of this Eastland County landscape, its irregular shoreline creating several deep coves fed by Colony Cr and Jim Neal Br. Near the western banks, Staff and Round Mtn overlook the water, while the rural settlement of Kokomo serves as a southern anchor for the local road network. The terrain is defined by a dendritic drainage pattern where Nash Cr and Mountain Br flow toward the meandering Leon River in the east.
