Kuskokwim Bay dominates the southern half of this mid-century coastal survey, where the land and sea meet in a complex network of mudflats and shifting channels. The shoreline is characterized by extensive deposits of Mud, which create a fluctuating boundary between the open water and the low-lying interior. Inland, the landscape is a saturated expanse of wetlands and small ponds, drained by the meandering Kongnignanohk River and the Kwigillingok River.

Evidence of human movement and habitation appears along the coast and northern tundra, notably at Kongiganak (Site) and a lone Cabin located near the western margin. A Winter Trail cuts across the northeastern portion of the sheet, providing a vital seasonal link through the marshy terrain toward the Ishkowik R. The presence of Kolekfikpuk Lake in the northwest highlights the abundance of freshwater bodies that punctuate this maritime environment during the early 1950s.
