Volcanic landforms and seasonal drainages define this high-altitude landscape along the border of Rio Arriba Co Taos Co. The area is anchored by the prominent volcanic heights of La Segita Peaks and the nearby Wissmath Craters, which rise from the plateau within the Rio Grande Del Norte National Monument. To the south, the No Agua Peaks provide further evidence of the region's geological history.
