Laverty and Norge anchor the northern reaches of this Caddo and Grady County borderland, where the terrain is defined by the complex hydrology of the Little Washita River watershed. The landscape is characterized by an extensive system of water management reservoirs, including Little Washita Site 41 Reservoir and several numbered neighboring sites, alongside recreation-focused bodies such as Lake Louis Burtschi and Lake Wanda. Small-scale agricultural and rural residential development is connected by a dense grid of county roads, including Co Rd 1400 and Whitfield Rd.
