The Wolf River flows through the northwest corner of this Menominee County landscape, passing through Turtle Rapids and White Rapids near the Five Islands landform. To the south, the settlement of Keshena serves as a primary hub, situated between Keshena Lake and La Motte Lake. The eastern half of the map is dominated by the intricate, branching arms of Legend Lake, a massive water body with numerous developed peninsulas and bays such as Mallard Bay Rd.
