The village of Leigh sits on the western edge of this agricultural landscape, where the W Fork Maple Cr winds through the northern plains of Colfax County. This 2017 study illustrates the dense network of rural roads, such as Co RD 4 and Co RD X, that define the section-line grid of the region's farming heritage.
