Little Texas and the northern reaches of the Ouachita National Forest define this landscape along the Scott and Yell County line. The terrain is characterized by a dense network of ridges and knobs, including Ganders Peak, Goat Knob, and Bee Knob, which overlook deep drainages like Huse Mire Hollow and Panther Suck Hollow. The Fourche LaFave River meanders across the northern section, fed by a complex system of tributaries such as Jennings Creek and Spiller Creek.
