Dugan Hills rise as a prominent landform across this interior Alaska landscape within the Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area. The terrain is defined by a series of low peaks and high-elevation ridgelines that separate the drainage basins of Hutlitakwa Cr to the north and Lochenyatth Cr to the south. This area is characterized by vast stretches of wetland and muskeg, typical of the subarctic wilderness. The absence of roads or established settlements on this sheet reflects a primary landscape of untouched natural resources, where the environment is shaped by the seasonal flow of these northern creeks. Surveyed boundaries for several townships, including t3n r12w and t2n r11w, provide a cartographic framework for this expansive terrain.
