Pasayten Wilderness and Okanogan National Forest dominate this high-elevation landscape, where sharp drainages and prominent summits define the territory. The headwaters of the Lost River carve through the center of the sheet, fed by a network of tributaries including Rampart Creek, Pinnacle Creek, and Drake Creek. The complex topography is punctuated by Many Trails Peak and Lost Peak, with the notable Rampart Ridge separating various glacial lake basins.
