Ludlow and its surrounding highlands in LeFlore County are defined by a complex network of ridges and watercourses. The settlement is positioned near the Little River, which snakes through the center of the terrain alongside several major creeks such as Potts Cr and Rock Cr. To the north and south, the elevation rises sharply toward peaks like Honobia Mtn and Wildhorse Mtn.
