The high-elevation settlement of Lynn and its nearby Cem anchor the northwestern corner of this territory where the Raft River Mountains meet the Sawtooth Mountains. The landscape is defined by the complex drainage of Dove Creek and its many tributaries, such as Left Hand Fork Dove Creek and Ed Richie Creek, which cut through the protected lands of the Sawtooth National Forest.
