Lynndyl occupies the southeastern corner of this arid landscape, situated just south of the Juab Co Millard Co boundary line. The settlement's layout is defined by its proximity to the rail line, with streets like Railroad Ave and Red Maple Ave anchoring the local grid. Moving northwest from the town site, the terrain transitions into a more primitive and shifting environment. Significant aeolian formations dominate the northern half of the quadrangle, including the White Sand Dunes, Sand Hills, and the prominent Sand Mtn. These features, along with The Knoll, indicate a desert landscape shaped by persistent winds and sparse water sources, such as the seasonal Tanner Cr.
