Marjum Pass and the surrounding high desert of the House Range define this arid landscape in Millard County. The terrain is deeply incised by canyons, including Sinbad Canyon and Dome Canyon, with prominent heights at Swasey Mountain and Howell Peak. Of particular interest to geologists and collectors is the inclusion of the Trilobite Beds near the Wheeler Amphitheater, indicating a region valued for its fossil records. Water sources are scarce, limited to remote points like Stove Spring and Wildhorse Spring. Transportation through this isolated terrain follows rugged tracks such as Death Canyon Rd and the historical alignment of Old 6 and 50, which skirts the southern edge of the quadrangle near Kells Knolls.
