Marsden anchors this 2017 survey of the Bradley County landscape, situated near the headwaters of Mill Cr and Charivari Cr. The terrain is defined by a series of low-lying ridges and prairies, including Sand Ridge, Hayes Ridge, and Pine Prairie, which give way to the wetlands and sloughs of the Ouachita River bottomlands. The southern portion of the quadrangle reveals a complex drainage network where Spring Slough and Gar Lake meet the river at the Bradley and Union County line.
