About this map

Lyall Glacier sits at the high northwestern corner of this 1969 topographic study, feeding the headwaters of Copper Creek as it flows toward the Wenatchee National Forest. The landscape is a high-altitude intersection of four protected areas, where North Cascades National Park meets the Lake Chelan National Recreation Area and the Okanogan National Forest. A single mining Prospect is noted in the north, while the vast majority of the terrain is defined by wilderness routes, most notably the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail which winds through the mountain passes.
