Meaden Peak and Nipple Peak define the high terrain of this portion of the Routt National Forest in northwest Colorado. The landscape is marked by a complex network of drainage systems, including the S Fork Little Snake River and numerous tributaries such as Slater Cr and Willow Cr. High-elevation water features like Willow Cr Lake are tucked into the drainages below the prominent peaks.
