1978 Map of Meridian

USGS Topo · Published 1979

About this map

Meridian stands at the western edge of this landscape, situated along the county line between Logan Co and Lincoln Co. In the late 1970s, the region retained a distinctly rural and scattered character, with small communities like Iconium and Merrick connected by a network of section roads and pipelines. The terrain is deeply carved by drainage systems, most notably Bear Creek and Walnut Creek, which flow toward the Cimarron River just off-sheet.
