White Horse and the campus of Sinte Gleska Univ anchor the western portion of this Todd County landscape within the Rosebud Reservation. The topography is defined by the drainage basins of Antelope Cr and White Thunder Cr, which cut through the high plains toward the north and east. A prominent landmark, Haystack Butte, rises above the surrounding terrain near the center of the sheet, providing a clear orientation point for the local geography. Significant water bodies including Antelope Lake and the smaller Tower Lake reflect the hydrologic character of the Antelope segment. Transportation is largely defined by local routes such as High Pipe Dr, illustrating the contemporary settlement patterns and infrastructure of this South Dakota region.
