To the south, the Donkey Hills overlook the Mud Flats, while the north is defined by steep ridges like Bear Mtn and remote water features such as Horse Lake. A complex network of backcountry routes, including the Snow Bank Trl and Big Gulch Trl, provides access to these high elevations from the valley floor and Pahsimeroi Rd.
