Mosheim anchors the southwestern corner of this Central Texas landscape where the undulating terrain of the Lampasas Cut Plain meets the river valleys of Bosque and McLennan counties. The drainage pattern is defined by the North Bosque River and several significant tributaries, including Neils Creek and Hog Creek, which carve through the limestone-crested hills. This rural region remains largely defined by its agricultural roots and ranching corridors, linked by a network of Farm-to-Market roads like Farm Rd 2602 and Farm Rd 217.
