Pahranagat Valley serves as the dominant geographic feature of this 2018 survey, marking a significant depression in the high desert landscape of eastern Nevada. The terrain is defined by dramatic elevation changes where the drainage of Logan Cr cuts through the high ground. Two primary canyons, Logan Canyon and Silver Canyon, provide natural corridors through the steep relief of the Mt. Irish area.
